This early-maturing, oxblood-red cipollini type was reselected by the late Dr. John Navazio for greater uniformity, longer storage life and enhanced resistance to thrips. Slim necks and hard flesh make this one an excellent keeper! Cipollini onions are small, to 3″ in diameter by 3/4 to 1″ in depth. They’re richly colored deep into the flesh, with a fine, robust flavor.  7,000 seeds/oz Pkt (~250 seeds) plants 13′.  Available in March
